Who We Need:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Clinicians (LCSW, LMFT, RN, or Psychologist) to join our team as PASRR Evaluators.
In this meaningful role, you will play a crucial part in helping individuals with mental illnesses receive the care they need to thrive in nursing homes.

Please note that this position requires travel throughout your region to various facilities.

Responsibilities:
Review and interpret patient records, evaluating against criteria to determine the medical necessity and appropriateness of care.
Your expertise will help determine if the medical record documentation supports the need for services.
Accurately and in a timely manner abstract review-related data/information using the appropriate review tool.
You will ensure the submission of all administrative and review-related documents to the appropriate parties.
Continuously reassess the review process, identifying opportunities for improvement and suggesting necessary changes.
Foster positive and professional relationships, acting as a liaison with internal and external customers.
Your ability to build effective working relationships and promote team building will facilitate the review process.
Attend training sessions and scheduled meetings, utilizing current and updated information for reviews.
Maintain the confidentiality of medical records at all times, adhering to HIPAA policies through proper use of computer passwords and secure file maintenance, etc.
Demonstrate proper telephone etiquette and effective verbal and written communication, following our organization and the clients policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Qualifications:
Active and valid license in California (LCSW, RN, LMFT, or Psychologist), in good standing.
Graduation from an accredited college with a relevant degree program.
A minimum of three (3) years of mental health experience within the past five (5) years involving direct patient care presenting a mental health diagnosis.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Proficiency in medical record abstracting.
Knowledge of medical record organization, medical terminology, and disease processes.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Flexibility and strong organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet/web navigation.
License Requirements:
