00 Annually PREAMBLE Directs overall supply chain operations, including purchasing and inventory of raw materials, selection of vendors when necessary, and distribution of finished goods.
Evaluates past performance data to forecast needs to optimize production scheduling.
Develops strategic plans to improve productivity, quality, cost, and efficiency of operations.
Demonstrates deep understanding of supply chain operations, planning and analytics including working capital optimization, logistics, distribution, ERP systems, data mining and modeling.
Position will manage of a team of professionals responsible for all aspect of supply and demand planning and materials management including , Customer Service and will have interactions with Nellson customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES:

Review incoming client purchase orders and communicate achievable material ready planning dates Ownership for ANH S&OP process Manage planning and inventory control processes Lead a team of planners, Material Management, Transportation, Warehouse, Customer Service personnel Set local policy for conduct of inventory and planning activities, objectives, goals and with ultimate alignment of organization around meeting customer and company objectives Lead communication between SCM and other functions for supply and demand issue resolution Develop inventory management policy and translate that into working models to drive solutions Assist in forecasting procurement needs Monitor trends in supply and communicate market information Build and develop key supplier relationships Track and measure purchasing strategies Support production and R&D in specific requests and deadlines Other duties and functions may be assigned Optimize Anaheim inventory levels to meet customer service, business continuity and cost objectives throughout the global distribution network linking suppliers, manufacturing plants, warehouses, distributors and customers Other duties as assigned NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES:
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
Bachelors degree from four-year College or university.
Masters preferred 10
years' experience in supply chain, manufacturing and distribution function Experience with Customer interaction and managing Customer Service function.
Experience managing teams with 5
years supervisory roles Demonstrated competency with cross-functional engagement and collaboration Working knowledge of and experience implementing material planning principles Experience building MRP processes and related systems Proficient computer skills - particularly Microsoft Office applications Understanding of Lean/Six Sigma Principles APICS certification SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Technically proficient and able to communicate this to customer level Visualized / strategizes while driving directives at a granular level Highly organized / proven multi-tasker Proven leadership skills - engages staff but with confidence and authority Mobilizer - can quickly assess a situation, required resources and drive execution Collaborative, does not build silos Good interpersonal skills Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to function well under pressure Capability of initiating and managing change.
