Responsibilities include:
Customer Service Consistently processes orders in an accurate and timely manner, minimizing delays from receipt date to scheduling Ensures orders received are proofread for accuracy (quantities, colors, part numbers, ship dates, etc.
) after order entry Provides the required timely follow-up to order entry submissions when information is pending and is unable to process the specific order Run daily Reports for team review and identify necessary actions to be taken Review Order Entry Audit Report and address and document issues accordingly Import / Export documentation administration Inventory transportation coordination Communication with warehouse managers and sales staff Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy Making special shipping arrangements as necessary Tracking and fixing shipping errors Enters all customer purchase orders for processing.
Reviews all freight invoices to ensure accurate freight rate is charged.
Invoices the orders making sure all prices and weight are correct.
Gathers all information (lot, PO #, case count) from purchases orders for sales.
Contacts customers/buyers if product return is necessary.
Processes labels for FedEx for samples and packages sent by sales team and other departments as needed.
Prepares sample requests when needed for sales department.
Requests pick up of packages sent via FedEx if needed.
Ensures Shipping carrier requirements and regulations are met.
Reviews freight rates and other transportation costs to keep working costs low.
Notifies customers if shipments are delayed.
Responds to shipping complaints, lost items, damages.
Executes logistics plan to move products and packages to reach destination on schedule.
Tracks shipment details, locations, ETAs.
Inform management of ongoing customer issues.
Works under general supervision.
