Overview The NICU Director is expected to perform duties in alignment with the mission and policies of the organization. Performs duties in support of and in compliance with the performance improvement plan, The Joint Commission and other licensing, accrediting, and regulatory agencies. The NICU Director shall directly supervise personnel and assure the quality of clinical nursing care of patients in the NICU at all times. The facility shall maintain written documentation of the qualification and responsibilities of the CCS certified community NICU Director. Provides leadership, clinical guidance and professional expertise to staff. Maintenance and promotion of quality nursing practice through education. Patient and community education. Plan, implement and evaluate various hospital services quality improvement program. Demonstrates investment in the positive growth of the organization. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING A graduate of state accredited school of nursing. BS in Nursing Current CA RN license. Current NRP and BLS provider Certificate of completion from NICU training program 3 years of clinical nursing experience with a minimum of 1 year in a regional or community NICU. NICU CCRN preferred
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
