Product Development Manager - Unified Communications at Extron Electronics in Anaheim, CA

Position Overview The Product Development team works closely with our engineering, quality assurance, and marketing teams to guide products from conception to launch. As a Product Development Manager within our Product Development team you help bridge the technical and business worlds as you work on solutions for the professional audio-visual and unified communications industry. You will be responsible for helping with the conceptualization and gathering of requirements for new products and solutions for use in meeting rooms, collaboration spaces, and learning environments. Candidate will need to stay on top of industry trends and emerging technologies for the unified communications industry and be expected to become an expert with meeting room solutions based on Microsoft TEAMS, Zoom, and Google Meet. Candidate should feel comfortable speaking with customers and industry partners to understand issues and technical requirements. Candidate will need to be a self-starter, self-motivated, and be available to work outside of normal business hours as needed to complete a project. Some travel required.
Responsibilities:
Focus on growing and supporting our solutions for the Unified Communications industry. Within an R&D type environment, test prototypes, evaluate new technologies and perform competitive product analysis. Become an expert with software-based conferencing solutions (Zoom, Microsoft TEAMS, etc.) and how our Extron products integrate with them. Assist with creating detailed documentation for new products and support issues. Required
Experience:
3
years of technical work experience BS degree in Engineering or related fields Experience working with IT, networking products, and network topologies preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail. Knowledge of the ProAV and Unified Communications industry is ideal Ability to quickly learn new technologies.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Technical Product ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
