Position Overview The Product Development team works closely with our engineering, quality assurance, and marketing teams to guide products from conception to launch. As an Applications Engineer within our Product Development team you help bridge the technical and business worlds as you work on solutions for the professional audio-visual industry. You will be responsible for helping with the conceptualization and gathering of requirements for new products and solutions for use in meeting rooms, collaboration spaces, and learning environments. Responsibilities Within an R&D type environment, test prototypes, evaluate new technologies and perform competitive product analysis. Assist with creating detailed documentation of new products and support issues. Product categories will include wireless video, video and audio over IP, video switching, control, and video conferencing solutions. Required Experience BS degree in Engineering or related fields Experience working with IT, networking products, and network topologies preferred. Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA) certification is a plus. Ability to quickly learn new technologies. Excellent oral and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail. Industry knowledge along with a solid engineering experience a plus.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
