Job Description Stepan is seeking a Reliability & Project Engineer to join our Maintenance team in Anaheim. In this role, you will report to the Maintenance & Engineering Manager. The Reliability & Project Engineer will drive reliability and mechanical integrity initiatives for the site to support plant operations. Responsibilities:
Lead maintenance, reliability, and mechanical integrity site assessments Lead and help execute tactical implementation plans that address opportunities discovered in assessment and align with company maintenance, reliability and mechanical integrity strategy. Assist in managing capital projects Apply Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) to improve plant performance. Together with Project Team, jointly own the overall responsibility to deliver the Project on the schedule, within budget, and with world-class safety performance Integrate Operations team support to produce a design with operability/maintainability/safety in mind Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years' experience in reliability and maintenance roles Experience with RCFA, RCM, and modern reliability engineering methodologies, Predictive Maintenance technologies, maintenance work processes and TPM Familiar with SAP PM maintenance management module including experience operating, generation of new PMs, and optimization of existing PMs Strong problem solving, organizational & communication skills (written & oral) Able to collect and interpret needed information Strong interpersonal skills; able to work well with people at all levels in the organization Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required Experience in continuous operation chemical manufacturing facility is preferred Education Bachelor's Degree in Engineering - Mechanical Engineering is preferred
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
DevOps & Site ReliabilityEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
