Position Overview Control System Support Specialists are an important part of our technical support team. They provide support to our customers for control systems software and hardware that is integrated into professional audiovisual systems. Control System Support Specialists interface with customers through phone and email correspondence to provide support for our products and ensure complete customer satisfaction. They also support other groups in the department to provide product information and technical guidance. Responsibilities Maintain technical knowledge of Extron products and technologies, focused on control systems software and hardware deployed in professional audiovisual systems Identify solutions for technical support scenarios and product selection Assist customers by providing technical information and support for Extron control system software and hardware products and technologies Qualifications 2
years experience in software application support, or experience supporting or deploying control systems in professional audiovisual systems. Degree in CS, CE, Information Technology or related software engineering field is a plus Knowledge of IT and networking systems and protocols Ability to communicate and interact effectively with customers Experience using help desk tools to track and communicate support efforts Strong analysis, problem solving and troubleshooting expertise Expertise on MS Suites including Word, Outlook, Excel and Power Point Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional office environment
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Technical Support, Systems Architecture & Engineering, Software DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
