Product Marketing Engineer

Qualifications:
Act as subject matter expert on a segment of products and related technologies for internal and external communication needs including sales training, customer training, and trade show presentations. Work with Product Development, Sales, Resellers and Customers to define new products, features, and functionality based on market need. Analyze and experiment with pending software and hardware releases in conjunction with Product Development. Assist with creation of new product launch materials including brochures, trade show signage, press releases, advertisements, catalog and Web content, white papers, and FAQ's. Assist with creation of product pricing for domestic and international markets based on positioning, competition, and local market pressures. Assist with creation of brand and product strategy, positioning, and messaging for assigned product categories. Research and analyze direct and indirect competitors, their strengths, weaknesses, and potential opportunities and threats. Analyze sales trends for product category. Manage assigned projects critical to Product Marketing mission with direction from senior staff. Research, identify, and analyze competitive trends in technologies, distribution, key features, and product design.
Experience:

years in the audio/video industry or related field.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
