full-time A fast-expanding Anaheim CA aerospace company is seeking a top-notch Quality Inspector to join and strengthen our team.
We have over 60
years of manufacturing history within the aerospace industry specializing in aircraft landing gear.
We are looking and willing to pay top wages for an experienced CMM Programmer/Operator who can perform dimensional inspection on a variety of machined, purchased or assembled aerospace components.
The CMM Operator will also perform in-process inspection for production, receiving inspection and final assembly inspection as needed and be able to document complex first article inspection results on form AS9102.
The right person will work on improving efficiencies, supporting program evaluation, compiling inspection data and assisting others.
Must have the ability to teach and interpret Geometric Dimension & Tolerance and Blueprint Reading.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
oProficient operating and programming coordinate measuring machine (CMM) using PC DMIS software oInspects for dimensional accuracy, process, and quality operations to assure compliance to customer, engineering, and quality requirements oPerforms first article inspection of machined, fabricated or welded parts, performs in-process and final inspection per established procedures oInterprets engineering drawings and dimensions using geometric dimensioning and tolerancing principles oInspecting to solid model parameters Requirements:
oPrevious CMM experience with at least (5) years' work experience, or a combination of education and experience.
oKnowledge or experience inspecting aerospace products oWorking knowledge of GD&T Programming, analyzing, layout, operation and detailed part inspections on various machined metal components on CMM.
oGood verbal and writing communication skills Qualified individuals will possess the following at a minimum:

years of experience as a CMM Programmer and/or operator.
Excellent skills in blueprint reading and interpretation.
Working knowledge of geometric dimension and tolerance (GD&T) is a must.
Ability to analyze data and respond accordingly.
Self-motivated and detail oriented in a fast-paced environment Proficient in use of all standard measuring instruments.
