This position is a part of the management team and supports our General Manager in all aspects of a distribution operation.
We are looking for someone with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Key
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement operational procedures, policies, and standards to ensure efficient and effective operations Manage and oversee all aspects of the warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, order processing, and shipping Oversee the transportation and logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries Collaborate with other departments such as sales and finance to ensure seamless communication and alignment of goals Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Manage and motivate a team of employees to achieve daily targets and goals and encourage teams' participation of sharing ideas for improvements Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings, and implement initiatives to optimize operations Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and vendors to ensure successful partnerships Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, all operational, and personnel policies and procedures Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by monitoring security procedures and protocols Maintaining inventory accuracy Run reports and analyze for improvement and adjustments of inventory, fill ratio, delivery time
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or a related field 8
years of experience in distribution operations management Experience with ERP system Previous 10 years in distribution/logistics Previous management experience Job Type:
