Staff RN II - Cath Lab

OverviewPrimarily responsible for providing acute patient care in a safe and effective manner in Cath Lab Recovery area from admission to discharge.
Additional responsibilities include directing the unlicensed employee's activity, synthesizing patient information, assessment of patients, planning of care/intervention, teaching of patients/family, implementation of treatment plan/MD orders, documentation and evaluation.
Representative duties include:
Collaboration with health care team, patient and family to coordinate patient care delivery.
Participation in ongoing feedback related to self, individual, unit and organizational performance improvement.
Integration of patient care standards and protocols into personal practice and assisting other RN's.
Completion of patient care assignments and documentation, asking for and offering assistance as appropriate and delegating as appropriate.
QualificationsLicensed in the State of California to Practice NursingBSN preferred.
One year acute care experience in Critical Care or PeriAnesthesia preferred.
In lieu of this experience, consideration will be made for staff with strong education and associated experiential background.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Current CA RN license requiredCurrent BLS-HCP requiredCurrent ACLS (required within six months of hire/transfer for RNs new to the specialty) Recommended Skills Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) Basic Life Support Catheterization Laboratory Critical Care Patient Information Leaflet Teaching Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
