Summary:
Under direct supervision receives, stores, selects and loads products within warehouse by performing the following duties as directed by immediate supervisor or Operations Manager.
Note:
Union position, starts at $21.
45/hour, great benefits.
Responsibilities:
Operate material handling equipment up to 95% of the time.
Selection and preparation of customer orders.
Read pick tickets, pick labels, and assemble customer orders.
Load trailers with merchandise scheduled to be shipped.
Operates within applicable safety guidelines as per government regulations.
Maintains performance at or above productivity standards.
Ensures proper warehouse cleanliness is maintained.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent education.
1 year warehouse experience.
Experience with electric ride-on pallet jack preferred.
Experience in operating material handling equipment such as hand jacks, forklifts, reach's, order pickers, and other various material handling equipment.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Have the motivation to sustain in a physically demanding environment.
Be flexible to work any hours, any days, and overtime.
