Maintain and improve the building condition and equipment functionality within the store.
You will perform maintenance tasks ranging from basic adjusting, fixing and replacing of components, landscaping, plumbing, electrical work, and demolition and installation of products.
Identify and report on areas and components that will need fixing.
The goal is to maintain the buildings, equipment and common areas in the best possible condition.
Responsibilities oWill receive Daily Assignments from Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate work shift for the Day.
oSurvey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with company, health and safety standards oPerform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc.
) oAssist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary oMaintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality oInspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed oPerform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.
) oConduct general upkeep procedures (e.
g.
landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.
) oMaintain company issued tools, equipment in good working order Requirements oGood Writing, Reading, Diagram understanding, and Verbal communication.
oBasic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems oKnowledge of general maintenance processes and methods oWorking knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices oManual dexterity and problem-solving skills oGood physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime oHigh school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus oGood understanding of safety for employees, customers, vendors Physical Requirements:
