Responsibilities:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Create shipping documents - Labels, BOL, inventories, etc.
Supervise warehouse employees and assist with pull requests and packing projects Create and review warehouse inventories in Excel Keep electronic notes of warehouse discrepancies and important information for a project to reference for future use.
Work with Production Director and CEO to layout production areas.
Advises employees on care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock; and related problems.
Reviews records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures, and to determine adequacy of stock levels.
Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies.
Determine work procedures and expedite workflow.
Issues written and oral instructions.
Maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances.
Keep Clean and Safe Work Areas Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Must have previous managerial or supervisor experience.
Must have previous warehouse experience 1-3 years.
AA or Bachelor's degree from college or certificate from technical school a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Ability to follow directions and take initiative when needed.
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
Excellent multitasking and problem-solving skills.
Detail oriented a must.
Must be highly organized.
