Responsibilities :
What You Will Do:
Collect and transport dirty trays, plates, and silverware to the dish room area Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, Guest areas, restaurant backstage areas, and corridors as assigned which would include sweeping and mopping floors Load and unload large dish washing machines, manually scrub pots and pans as well as sort and restock kitchen items like, pots, pans, plates, glassware, and utensils into designated locations Work around food products including but not limited to beef, pork, poultry, fish, shellfish, gluten, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, egg, and dairy products Break down cardboard and may operate cardboard baler Handle cleaning chemicals and supplies while practicing accurate sanitation procedures and ensuring chemical usage is appropriate Additional Personal Protective Equipment (face shields, goggles, refillable hand sanitizers, etc.
) may be required Complete update training, regulatory training (computer-based training) when vital Basic Qualifications :
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Understand and follow all sanitation rules Lift pots, pans, and boxes of up to 50 pounds Push and pull heavy carts Work in noisy areas and confined spaces Work as a team and independently Use protective safety gear supplied by the company Listen carefully and able to take direction Preferred
Qualifications:
Previous restaurant experience Previous experience working in a hospitality or tourism related role Additional Information :
SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:
00am while some may end as late as 3:
00am, 4:
00am or 5:
00am.
Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.
This role is Part Time:
Non-peak periods require availability which includes Friday evenings, full availability Saturday & Sunday, and weekday evenings for Special Events.
Full availability is required during our peak periods, including Summer, Christmas, Spring Break, and Holiday Weekends.
