- Greet and welcome clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner - Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk - Collect and update patient information, including medical history and insurance details - Assist veterinarians with animal handling, restraint, and examinations - Perform basic laboratory procedures, such as blood draws and sample collection - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room - Process payments for services rendered and provide accurate billing information to clients - Educate clients on general pet care, including vaccination schedules and preventive treatments Requirements:
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting preferred - Knowledge of animal care, husbandry, and handling techniques - Familiarity with veterinary terminology and procedures - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Proficiency in using computer systems for scheduling appointments and managing client records - Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in record keeping - Willingness to learn new procedures and techniques as needed Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
