Participate in design and planning activities, following Agile methodology.
Create technical documentation such as installation/configuration/maintenance procedures.
Deploy solutions to Dev, Test, and Production environments.
Identify and report issues in the product.
Analyze and assess issues during integration, testing, deployment and provide support on site when required.
Communicate progress, issues, and identified risks during status meetings.
Support planning by breaking larger tasks into smaller ones and estimating effort for specific tasks.
Confer with systems engineers, developers, customization engineers, and others to design the system.
Identify limitations and performance requirements.
Analyze the configuration of the systems prepared by the System Engineering Team and ensure successful implementation of the solution.
Ensure all customization code meets the requirements and has been fully validated through coordinated integration testing.
Communicate with other technical leads to ensure technical problems which might impact other projects are communicated to avoid problem repeat.
Act as a lead technical consultant to internal project team members such as Program, Project, or Product Managers regarding programming/system related issues and any external stakeholders such as customer IT or end users.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree with technical major such as engineering or computer science.
7-10 years of experience in a similar role (Systems Engineering - Linux/Windows) Strong background in scriptingStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work within distributed team from different geo-locations.
Sound experience in software integration, customization, design and/or development.
Strong knowledge of setting up and maintaining Linux servers.
Strong knowledge of Windows environment such as active directory and modern authentication.
Intermediate understanding of computer networking and network protocols (HTTP, SSL, etc.
).
Relational database and SQL query.
Source control and issue tracking systems (e.
