Summary:
The Financial Coordinator is directly responsible for oversight of client financial matters.
In addition, this position also acts as the liaison between clients, referring veterinarians and doctors.
This position does require an in-depth knowledge of emergency and specialty veterinary medicine, financial acumen, and an empathetic and highly diplomatic approach to client interactions.
Critical thinking skills and a solutions-based approach are essential elements for success in this role.
Prior experience with handling complex client and financial transactions in an Emergency Veterinary setting is a prerequisite for successful candidates.
Key
Responsibilities:
Proficient in Windows-based systems, EzyVet/ Smart flow and ability to interface with various payment systems such as Clover, Care Credit, Scratch pay Triage client calls and requests for information Provide ongoing financial updates to clients Coordinate flow of information to clients, staff and doctors Collect, process, estimate charges and payments Assist clients in alternative payment solutions Coordinate patient admissions, discharge and transfers Maintain patient records and correspondence Assist in ensuring charges are correct and appropriate Provide ongoing client education This is a full-time permanent position with very competitive compensation.
