Responsibilities:
- Contact customers to collect outstanding payments- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities- Resolve customer inquiries and disputes regarding billing and payment- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely resolution of customer issues- Follow up on payment arrangements and negotiate payment plans when necessary- Prepare and send collection letters or notices to delinquent customers- Update customer accounts with payment information and notes on collection efforts- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining professionalism and empathyRequirements:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult conversations- Knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures- Proficiency in using accounting software for account management and analysis- Strong math skills for accurate calculations and account analysis- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skillsNote:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
