We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable Clerk.
As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
This is a vital role within our organization, as it directly impacts our financial operations.
Duties:
- Process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests - Verify accuracy of invoices and resolve any discrepancies - Code and enter invoices into the accounting system - Prepare and process weekly check runs - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any outstanding issues - Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records - Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable - Provide support to the accounting team as needed Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred - Proven experience working in an accounts payable role - Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Google Suite and other accounting software - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines - Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping - Knowledge of clerical procedures, such as filing and data entry - Ability to transcribe information accurately - Previous experience is a plus If you are a motivated individual with a strong attention to detail and a passion for numbers, we encourage you to apply for the position of Accounts Payable Clerk.
