Set-up and run either hand fed or automatic Centerless Grind machines Knowledge and ability to select grinding wheel, blade support, dressing both wheels, speeds and operation sequences
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education & experience Ability to analyze and accurately interpret blueprints, customer drawings and industry specification required Working knowledge of SPC and proficient in the use of various types of inspection equipment (micrometer, calipers, comparator, and other misc.
inspection equipment) in precision measurement Attention to detail with ability to think and act analytically and use mathematics to meet job requirements Ability to accurately apply shop math to job duties Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Strong interpersonal skills including listening, speaking and writing Effective team member, willing to work and communicate with all levels of the business Excellent attendance record, including punctuality Ability to work overtime as required including weekends when needed Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
