Essential Functions Process product orders for US domestic customers & a limited International Export customers.
Ensure that sales orders are entered into the business system completely, accurately and on-time so that they can be invoiced promptly and accurately.
Communicate short orders, manage back-orders for the customer.
Field customer calls on the status of their orders or new items inquiry or transfer to Sales Rep.
Arrange shipments by examining destination, route, rate, delivery time; dispatches to carriers in close coordination with the local logistics team Verifies merchandise shipped by matching bills of lading; reconciling quantities; noting discrepancies.
Ensure that all backup documentation, e.

, Sales contracts, PO's are complete and on file.
Confirm orders back to customers as appropriate via email or over the phone.
Follow up with shipping and communicate to customers, to make sure products ordered are shipped and received.
Verify pricing for sales orders by checking internal contract pricing.
Coordinate and allocate orders in imake for warehouse to accurately pick product.
Perform other customer service-related tasks and special projects as requested.
Work with other departments to resolve issues.
May do one or all of the following:
Communication with internal team to facilitate incoming product returns, shipment scheduling, credit memo invoicing and export documentation preparation.
Standing orders - set up, review, shipment scheduling, and invoicing.
Work closely with other departments to ensure customer requirements are met such as:
verifying expiration, and shelf life, labeling, etc.
Keeps management and customers informed by forwarding notices, shipment date, and method, and current status of returns & complaints Freight forwarding functions such as booking, issuing Delivery Orders, confirming the status on pick-up and deliveries.
Track and log information in the system.
Produce reports as required by management.
Attend training and Customer Service meetings.
Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED A minimum of 2 years Customer Service experience.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Computer skills including the ability to type efficiently and navigate technology.
Knowledge of Microsoft, Excel, Word Excellent communication and presentation skills Have a high degree of self-motivation and independence, but also can work and excel in a collaborative, team-oriented environment Ability to communicate ideas and thoughts effectively to any level in the organization, including the clients directly Proven experience as a Customer Service Representative, retail, hospitality, or sales associate background Must be able to critically and strategically think to effectively handle customer complaints and issues and work in a fast-paced team setting Punctuality and preparedness are an absolute must Harris Spice is a division of Harris Freeman.
