We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Farm Hand.
As a Farm Hand, you will assist with various tasks involved in the day-to-day operations of our farm.
This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in all conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with inoculating, cultivating, and harvesting crops - Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment - Perform general maintenance tasks on the farm.
- Assist with irrigation systems and ensure proper water distribution - Help with the maintenance of gardens and greenhouses - Perform heavy lifting as required for tasks such as loading and unloading supplies or moving equipment - Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment Skills:
- Experience working on a farm or in a similar agricultural setting is preferred - Proficiency in operating power tools and hand tools - Basic math skills for measuring and calculating quantities - Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor for extended periods of time - Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues - Familiarity with farm machinery operation is an asset - Knowledge of garden maintenance techniques is beneficial This is a physically demanding role that requires stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
