We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a File Clerk/Legal Assistant.
In this position, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and organizing documents and records within our organization.
You will also be answering phones and doing some light typing.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys administrative tasks and has strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- File and organize physical and electronic documents according to established procedures - Retrieve files as needed for various departments or individuals - Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems - Assist with document management systems and ensure proper indexing and categorization - Perform basic administrative tasks such as data entry, scanning, and photocopying -Some light typing - Answering phone, taking detailed messages -Accounts Receivable - calling on past due accounts
Experience:
- No experience necessary, but previous experience in an administrative role is a plus - Familiarity with document management systems is a plus - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Attention to detail and accuracy in file management - Proficient in using computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite - Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team Job Types:
