We are an animal rescue that offers boarding for our rescue dogs and to the public.
This position requires a strong work ethic, a genuine love of animals and a friendly personality.
The kennel attendant will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning the kennel along with assisting with feeding, giving medicine, and walking dogs.
Responsibilities Feed and provide water to animals in a timely manner Clean out animal cages Pick up animal waste in a timely manner Be aware of any potential dangers to animals and humans in the area Walking dogs Washing dishes Bathing dogs Janitorial duties such as cleaning/sweeping/mopping etc.
Qualifications Be at least 18 years of age Be physically fit (MUST be able to lift over 50 lbs) Be efficient - work fast AND thorough Be proactive & dependable Be able to follow directions Be comfortable with ALL TYPES AND SIZES of dogs and cats Be available to work on Holidays and weekends Qualified candidates must unconditionally love all dogs.
