Job Details
We are currently seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is an integral part of our sales force, combining technical engineering knowledge with a strong understanding of sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by developing new business opportunities and managing relationships with existing customers. This position requires a strong background in technical sales, negotiation, and customer relationship management.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals and achieve sales targets.
2. Provide technical and non-technical support and services to clients or other staff members regarding the use, operation, and maintenance of equipment.
3. Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to customers and prospective customers.
4. Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements, to promote the sale of company products, and to provide sales support.
5. Plan and modify product configurations to meet customer needs.
6. Secure and renew orders and arrange delivery.
7. Recommend improved materials or machinery to customers, showing how changes will lower costs or increase production.
8. Help clients solve problems with installed equipment.
9. Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and enhance product offerings.
10. Manage customer relationships and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
11. Negotiate contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor s degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales, engineering, or a related field.
3. Proven track record of business development and sales management.
4. Strong negotiation and contract negotiation skills.
5. Extensive knowledge of the commercial aftermarket.
6. Exceptional customer relationship management skills.
7. Excellent presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
8. Proficient in sales forecasting and strategic sales planning.
9. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
10. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify customer needs and provide effective solutions.
11. Self-motivated and driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
12. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
13. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
