Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Aerospace / Firearm Painter to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aerospace / firearms painting, including experience with various coatings, surface preparation techniques, and quality control processes.
The Aerospace / Firearms Painter will be responsible for preparing aircraft surfaces for painting, applying coatings according to specifications or Manufacture's Technical Data Sheets, and ensuring the highest quality finish.
Responsibilities:
Prepare a multitude of surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and masking.
Mix and apply coatings according to specifications or technical data sheets.
Ensure proper adhesion, thickness and finish of coatings.
Inspect work to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
Maintain painting equipment and work area.
Follow all safety guidelines and regulations.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in aerospace and / or firearm painting.
Knowledge of aerospace coatings and application techniques.
Knowledge of firearm coatings and application techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment Preferred
