Distribution Center Associate
Our Engagements We will accept only engagements for which we are qualified by our experience and competence.
We will assign staff to client engagements in accord with their experience, knowledge and expertise.
We will immediately acknowledge any influences on our objectivity to our clients and will offer to withdraw from a consulting engagement when our objectivity or integrity may be impaired.
Position Purpose Statement:
To select, stage, load, receive, put away, and replenish products in a safe efficient and accurate manner.
In this position, you will work in our freezer with temperatures averaging -10 below.
This is a fast paced position which requires you to be able to hand lift cases repetitively.
These cases weigh up to 100 lbs.
Must be able to lift 1400 cases or more per shift with an average weight of 25 to 35 lbs.
Minimum Experience and/or Education:
1.
Must have a high school dimploma or GED.
2.
Must be at least 18 years old.
3.
Be able to operate machinery requiring pushing and pulling.
All equipment requires standing and getting on and off the equipment throughout the shift, with body twisting, and looking up a minimum of 200 times per shift.
Equipment driving requires the use of arm and shoulder for turning the circular sterring wheel for 8 or more house per day.
4.
Be certified on Triple pallet jack and high lift (will train).
5.
Be able to walk/stand on concrete floors 100% of the time for 8 or more hours per day.
Repetitive and prolonged forward and back with side bending at the waist, hips, knees, and ankles, and pushing/pulling of product, 200 or more times per day6.
Be able to work overtime on a daily basis as required by the department's workload.
