Working under consultative direction, perform full cycle recruitment, managing effective relationship with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and fill openings in a timely manner. Key responsibilities include maintaining a pipeline of qualified candidates for current & future consideration; screening candidate resumes; conducting employment prescreening interviews; and assisting with salary negotiations, and preparation of offer requests as well as follow through to acceptance and start. Considered an expert in the field within organization.
Recruits for exempt and non-exempt, technical and non-technical, temporary and regular full time openings. Process requisitions in Applicant Tracking System. Post jobs in the internet sites (e.g., Monster, professional organizations, networking groups, diversity organizations, etc), Company internet site and EDD. Source, screen, set appointments, interview, facilitate background/reference checks and pre-employment drug screens and works with outside agencies and vendors. Develop solutions to complex problems and implement creative sourcing strategies. Manage college recruiting. Participate in job fairs. Communicate with management on a frequent basis in both verbal and written form on recruitment status.
Expert knowledge of: CA and Federal employment laws and regulations, OFCCP employment regulations for Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) and recruiting procedures and practices for Defense/ DoD industries. Must have excellent administrative, verbal and written communication, interpersonal and customer service skills. Requires the ability to analyze data and provide staffing metrics for reports and meetings.
BS/BA degree.
Requires minimum 10-15 years progressive experience and proven track record in technical recruiting.
DoD/ Defense or Aerospace related manufacturing/ engineering design environments is preferred.
Requires minimum 5 years experience managing and using applicant tracking software.
We are seeking - Extensive experience in recruiting for high tech electrical, systems and software engineers with navigation systems backgrounds. Preferably in the defense industry but not exclusively. Extensive experience data mining for the passive, semi-passive candidate using tools such as LinkedIn, Indeed, etc. vs general website searches at Monster, Career Builders, etc.
Not interested in candidates who have primarily recruited for manufacturing positions or functional ones (Operations, Accounting/Finance, Contracts) as these openings are far and few between

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
