RN Labor & Delivery Per Diem Nights (12hr)

This position is for Anaheim Global Medical Center. Performs, interprets and completes assessment/reassessment per policy. Develops, implements & revises patient specific plan of care. Collaborates with multidisciplinary healthcare team using effective communication, utilizing SBAR when appropriate. Recognition and implementation of NPSG's as appropriate. All documentation completed timely, legibly, objectively and accurately. Demonstrates ability to identify critical events/near misses and takes appropriate action/s. Provides an environment conducive to safety & security, implements appropriate precautions/measures. Administers medications/IV's safely according to hospital P&P. Upholds the basic right of privacy & seeks to preserve dignity/independence of expression of all pts/families. Practices appropriate measures of infection control using principles of universal precautions. Provides appropriate assessment and management of pain. Demonstrates ability to identify and respond appropriately to emergency situations. Maintains current knowledge and demonstrates understanding of Electronic Fetal Surveillance. Maintains current knowledge and demonstrates understanding of the commonly used methods of induction and augmentation. Demonstrates ability to circulate during a Cesarean Delivery. Demonstrates the ability to recover the post anesthesia patient. Qualifications: Current CA RN license, BCLS, ACLS, NRP. Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification within 6 months from hire. 2yr previous L&D experience preferred. Does include some weekends. Must have the ability to meet essential functions of the job with or without accommodation. Possesses the physical abilities, including heavy lifting, and perceptive acuity, e.g., visual, hearing, to satisfactorily perform all direct and indirect patient care functions. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
