Senior Sprinkler Technician/Inspector

Diversified Protection Systems, Inc (DPSI) is a recognized leader in design, construction, and service operations for Mission Critical Electrical and Life Safety Systems.
DPSI has offices in Anaheim, Fremont, and San Diego, California. Our business provides design, build, and service for fire detection, alarm, special hazards fire protection systems, which includes clean agent systems: FM-200, Inergen, Novec. Also, water-based protection systems: high pressure water mist, pre-action sprinkler, and aqueous foam.
DPSI has an immediate position in our Orange/Los Angeles County area for a Senior Sprinkler Technician/Inspector. The ideal candidate will possess the following traits:

Technical Skills:
+ Knowledge and understanding of NFPA codes and standards for inspection, testing and installation
+ Ability to inspect, test, and repair:
+ General wet pipe systems
+ Pre-action systems
+ Fire pumps (electric and diesel)
+ Foam systems
+ Bonus skills (but not required for consideration):
+ System knowledge of water mist systems and clean agent system
Other Requirements:
+ All candidates must be able to pass drug, alcohol, and background checks.
+ Able to work Monday-Friday with some on-call, after-hour and weekends (as required)
+ Must possess good driving, criminal, and credit history (may be subject to Department of Justice and FBI background check)
+ Able to travel to job site where overnight stay may be required
+ Reliable transportation
+ Valid California Driver?s License
+ Must be able to lift at least 60 pounds above your head
+ Must be able to climb ladders, crouch in confined spaces, and work in high spaces

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
