Supervisor, Remarketing

SUMMARY:The focus of this department is to liquidateany vehicles that have been repossessed as quickly as possible whilemaintaining a consistent and reasonable return of funds. The Remarketing Supervisoris responsible for handling the day-to-day activity at the auction level inaddition to supporting the remarketing department. This position will beresponsible for various supervisor duties within a fast paced department byperforming the following functions:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitor day to day operations to ensure optimal efficiency andresults on a daily basis.
Maintain a clear knowledge of policies and procedures, bestpractices and situational advice as requested by Management.
Provide coaching and direction to staff to enhance successful workbehaviors.
Communicate escalated situations directly with auctions, but notlimited to auto dealerships, 3rd party vendors concerning Gateway One's fleet.
Review daily reporting and workflow to ensure sales performancegoals are met.
Develop and implement policies and procedure to provide for moreefficient remarketing procedures.
Ensure ongoing training and side by sides are conducted to improveindividual results and consistency within the department.
Maintain a network of contacts within the Auction industry.
Monitor vehicle valuations such as Kelley, N.A.D.A. & ManheimMarket Report to ensure it is current.
Evaluate vehicles to determine repairs or reconditioning.
Execute the sale strategy as communicated by management.
Monitor Auction performance to capture sales, trends and productivity.
Practice and Promote teamwork within the Remarketing department.
Assist Manager with Remarketing training, problem solving and teamguidance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 2 years related work experience in auto finance or inventory management.
Must be able to demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, including but not limited to the ability to generate high-level business correspondence.
Ability to self-start and work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to work in an accurate, detail-oriented and highly productive manner
Strong verbal/written communication skills and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and react quickly in a fast paced environment.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
