Software Engineer Aide - Internship
Job Description: The Engineering Aide position entails assisting with updating C code (not C ), analyzing anomalies, assisting with configuration of engineering tools, writing automated tests, performing unit testing and lab unit integration, and assisting with updating technical documentation.

Required Education/Experience: Position requires a Bachelor or Master's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or related discipline, and a passion to pursue a career with L-3 IEC.
Candidate must be a self-starter, demonstrate initiative, inquisitive and willing to jump into any opportunity presented. Previous software development experience outside of coursework is not mandatory, but is highly valued. Software development tasks are assigned depending on demonstrated skills and aptitude. Temporary position working 12-40 hours per week.
This position is available for immediate start and requires one or more of the following:
Experience with the C programming language.
Experience with C#.
Hands on experience with configuration management tools such as GIT or Perforce.
Practiced use of languages such as Python, Perl.
Experience using good software development practices.
Experience configuring servers, SQL databases, establishing privileges, applying system and application upgrades and patches.
Embedded systems/programs concepts.
Special Requirements: US Citizenship is required for this position.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
