Food & Beverage Wait Help- Part Time, Disneyland Resort

Acts as primary wait help to serve food and beverages to Guests in a four star fine dining restaurant or lounge. Distributes and describes ingredients and preparation style for all menu items. Ability to engage the Guest and provide exemplary service.
Food & Beverage Wait help receive a starting pay rate of $10.00 per hour. This role is eligible for tips.
+ Possesses ability to serve 4-6 table stations, depending on party size which includes taking food order, entering in POS system, delivering food to tables and following up with Guest service needs until meals are complete and Guest leaves (all course meals, refills)
+ Ability to hold conversations with Guests and suggest dining options, throughout the dining experience
+ Ability to verbally state menu options and ingredients, share specials or highlight menu items
+ Shares knowledge of wines, spirits to Guests
+ Assists Guests with directions, entertainment, show event schedules and other information
+ Anticipates Guests needs and acts accordingly
+ Serves food and beverage to Guests at proper temperature
+ Clears tables and perform pre-bussing duties
+ Ability to work with kitchen/restaurant equipment and supplies including, but not limited to coffee brewers, juice and soda fountains, toasters, trays, carafes, plates, silverware and glassware
+ Practices proper sanitation procedures and maintains cleanliness of the side stations
+ Completes assigned side work as necessary including but not limited to: polishing silverware, folding/rolling napkins, filling condiment caddies, cleaning beverage side station, slicing and pitting fruit for garnishing drinks
+ Prior computer experience, working with POS systems; entering Guest food orders and self banking of Guest checks accurately and efficiently
+ Set tables and/or seat Guests as needed
+ Must be at least 21 years of age
+ Previous serving experience required
+ Ability to multi-task and work in a very fast paced environment
+ Speed, accuracy and efficiency are required and ability to work well under pressure
+ Demonstrated ability to own and resolve Guest situations
+ Demonstrated excellent Guest service and service recovery skills
+ Adept at troubleshooting and can calmly handle difficult situations
+ Self directed, trusted and well respected by peers
+ Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays and special events
+ This role is Part Time and requires full availability for any shift, a MINIMUM of three (3) days per week, including nights and holidays
+ Alcohol Awareness Training (i.e. RVP, TIPS or equivalent)
+ Previous experience in a fast paced high volume environment
+ Minimum three years wait help experience with at least one year in a four star fine dining restaurant
+ Bilingual preferred
+ Previous restaurant experience; understanding of full service environment
+ Previous fine dining/table service experience preferred
+ Basic wine knowledge
+ Knowledge of food and wine pairings
+ Full availability for any shift, seven (7) days per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays is preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
