The Post Closer is responsible for performing a detailed post-closing analysis of closed Government loan packages to determine compliance with Agency program guidelines. Audit loan files for submission to Government Agencies for endorsement/guarantee. Validate loan level data within the Encompass360 LOS and Corresponding Government Agencies to ensure that loans are free of deficiencies prior to submission. ? Review closed loan packages to ensure that documents are correctly signed and properly executed by mortgage loan originators, processors, and underwriters. ? Perform a detailed post-closing analysis of closed loan packages to determine compliance with Government Agency program guidelines and checklist ? Enter loan data in FHA Connection, VA WebLgy and USDA for Insuring/Guarantee purposes, maintaining accurate data integrity ? Respond to requests and prepare case binders for any loan files that receive Notice of Rejections/ Deficiencies from Government Agencies ? Define and analyze defects using logic and resourceful methods to actively resolve ? Work in conjunction with internal operations, borrowers and all entities connected to loan file for conditions needed for audit and/or NOR?s/Deficiencies ? Maintain production and quality per management guidelines ? Perform other general post-closing functions as needed
Qualifications:
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND COMPETENCIES: ? Knowledge of mortgage industry concepts, practices and procedures. ? Knowledge of mortgage loan documentation and the government insuring processes. ? Intermediate skills in Microsoft Suite ? Word, Excel, etc. ? Intermediate Encompass 360 skills ? Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time wisely. ? Ability to work independently, analyze data, take and recommend appropriate actions with minimal supervision. ? Superior analytical, organizational and problem solving abilities. ? Resolution oriented with the ability to work in a team environment. ? Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. ? Excellent written and oral communication and customer service skills EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR LICENSES: ? High school diploma or equivalent work experience. ? Two (2) to five (5) years? title, settlement services or mortgage experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
