Convention Service Attendant- Seasonal, Disneyland Resort

Convention Service Attendants typically work in an on-call/seasonal capacity. Scheduling flexibility is a must, and cast members may work breakfast, lunch, dinner or late night events. Heavy lifting related to setting up and breaking down events is a major part of this role. Convention Service Attendants are responsible for obtaining, assembling and arranging tables and chairs for all Banquet events/functions, according to the banquet event order, keeping all event spaces, storage areas, foyers and service areas clean and organized. Convention Service Attendant is a tipped role and receives a starting rate of $10.00/hour plus tips.
+ Responsible for setting up banquet room/event by setting up tables and chairs in event space including linen
+ Adjust and arranges air walls
+ Obtain, assemble and arrange tables and chairs according to the Banquet Event Order
+ Gather all necessary materials/equipment for event operation
+ Stages and plates silverware, glassware and all table accoutrements for event in designated lay down area
+ Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of banquet area throughout the event and removing trash
+ Vacuums, dusts, mop and perform general cleaning in meeting and event rooms
+ Keeps all event spaces, storages areas, foyers, and service areas clean and organized
+ Welcomes and interacts with guests in a positive and friendly manner
+ Refreshes room during event breaks (i.e. water stations)
+ Strikes room at end of event
+ Responsible for ensuring that china, silverware and glassware are returned to the proper dish machine area
+ Completes stock and spoilage records as needed
+ Maintains and operates banquet vehicles
+ Counts, sorts and organizes linens and other banquet supplies (table, chairs, etc.)
+ You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role.
+ Ability to multi task and work in a very fast paced environment
+ Able to do heavy lifting of tables and chairs
+ Excellent Hospitality skills
+ Speed, accuracy and efficiency are required and ability to work well under pressure
+ Demonstrated ability to own and resolve guest situations
+ Self-directed (can complete tasks with minimal supervision)
+ Willing to follow instructions & take direction
+ Flexible/adaptable
+ Supportive of other cast working on your team
+ Can complete repetitious tasks while maintaining quality
+ This role is Seasonal and requires full availability for any shift, any day of the week, including nights, weekends, and holidays
+ Previous experience working in a banquet/catering serving role
+ Previous banquet setup experience
+ Full availability for any shift, seven (7) days per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays is preferred

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
