Government Property Administrator

We're currently seeking a Government Property Administrator. In this role you will be responsible for administering property control of Power Paragon's Government Property Management System activities to ensure continual accountability of government, associate contractor, or company property in accordance with government regulations and corporate policy. (Specifically: FAR 52.245-1, Government Property and the respective DFAR clauses regarding Item Unique Identification (IUID) marking and reporting.)
Your day to day activities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Maintains property accountability records, determine condition and arranges disposal of surplus or obsolete material or equipment in accordance with government property management procedures.
Conducts property audits; provides guidance to company organizations on government regulations pertaining to property accountability; develops, recommends, and implements property administration policy and procedure; conducts internal training and system audits; prepares/consolidates information for periodic government property reports to government agencies; and, prepares periodic internal status and special purpose reports to management as required.
Provides training and direction to functional departments on GFP management requirements and procedures; is the Government Property Management System's principal contact with internal personnel, external customers, and the government.
Ensure contract provisions and requirements to acquire, control, use, care for, report, and dispose of government property are met.
Investigate, analyze, and resolve deficiencies in the property control system as necessary.
Assist with RFP, proposal, contract and purchase order reviews and work with other departments to administer government property contractual requirements.
Responsible for all aspects of disposition and disposal of customer assets as well as the processing of excess property in the plant clearance case system.
Take corrective action as necessary to ensure compliance to property requirements.
Perform regular analysis of the government property system, with primary emphasis on analyzing data and resolving property records issues.
Perform internal audits and ensure the ability to pass Corporate and government audits. Annually review and certify that government property policies and procedures are accurate, complete, and up to date.
Initiate and maintain contacts throughout the organization and with customers as necessary to resolve property issues.
Ensure the integrity of data, records, and reports that are officially submitted to the government.
Administer, track and report on customer and government-owned property, ensuring property is effectively controlled and maintained in accordance with company and government procedures/regulations.
Manage all government and capital property efficiently, economically, and uniformly.
Continually interface with technicians, engineers, outside calibration service providers, customer and/or government representatives and counterpart at outlying sites.
Submit reports both internally and to customers and/or government, coordinate inventory of assets and ensure adequate storage, maintenance, and disposal of assets.
Coordinate calibration system, ensuring all calibrated equipment is tracked, controlled, repaired, and calibrated as required by procedures.
Your education/experience includes:
Bachelor's degree in business.
Three (3) years experience in federal government property management working knowledge of FAR regulations.
Expert knowledge of government property system administration, associated documentation and a strong understanding of related ISO/AS criteria.
Strong communication skills, organizational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple efforts internally and externally as required.
Working knowledge of TLS (LEAN, and Six Sigma) process improvement tools preferred.
Professional certification by the National Property Management Association is desired.
Working knowledge of PCARSS system is desirable.
Proficiency in the use of on-line government property databases is preferred.
Actively participate in continuous development and enhancement of the property control system.
Computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and property/TE/MRP database management.
Inspection and internal audit skills are a plus.
Navy Supply System Customer Asset Visibility (CAV) experience is a plus but not required.
Manufacturing experience a plus.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
