Coach & Culture Owner
Thought Partner, Solution Provider and Challenger to the Plant Managers and Operations Leaders
Performance Manager, Compensation Advisor and Succession Planner
Ethics and Compliance Leader
Responsibilities
Partners with Plant Managers and Operations Leaders to develop leadership skills and drive technical skills training (i.e. safety leadership, operator certification training, on-boarding etc.).
Be a coach to help drive our Safety Culture, Guiding Principles and a Culture of Accountability.
Be a thought partner for the plants and assist with focus areas (i.e. turn-over, training, org structure). Challenge the status quo.
Work with the plants to drive a "Pay for Performance" culture and build bench strength for critical plant roles.
Market comp advisor.
Educate, train and coach on ethics issues and compliance.
Expectations (spend 3-4 days a week in plants - on the floor with supervisors coaching them on how to lead change and build a safety culture while we get the performance we want.)
Assist the Plant Manager in driving our safety culture (safety metric)
Assist the Plant Manager in driving our Guiding Principles culture
Reduce turnover (turnover %) ? both voluntary and in-voluntary
Reduction in hiring lifecycle (reduction in time to fill open positions)
Engaged workforce (employee NPS)
HR Action Plans for each plant
Reduction in ethics complaints (# of complaints)
Goals to be defined by needs of each plant based on "HR Health Assessment" and HR Action Plan developed jointly with the Plant Manager
Qualifications:
Work history that includes oversight responsibility of overall HR for organizations with an employee population of 200+.
Strong commercial and operational acumen, can effectively partner with senior business leaders.
Strong track record of effective talent management and the utilization of resourcing to improve organizational capability.
In-depth knowledge and experience of compensation practices and disciplines, inclusive of utilizing salary survey information to conduct and provide detailed analysis of functional, market and industry relevant compensations structure.
Detailed knowledge and experience administrating various benefit plans, medical, dental, life, savings and retirement plans.
Proficient and hands-on experience using HRIS software. (Ceridian a plus).
Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data, detect trends, draw conclusions and formulate recommendations.
Will be expected to handle and maintain confidential information with integrity.
High level of accuracy; meeting key deadlines and attention to detail are required.
Ability to effectively partner with other key associates, HR Business Partners, and functional leaders to review and solve compensation-related issues and provide relevant compensation recommendations.
Prior experience in the manufacturing industry, union and nonunion, is required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Fluency in Spanish required
Additional Desirable Qualifications Skills and Knowledge:
Knowledge of base and variable pay programs and performance management systems, as well as a thorough knowledge of labor laws and regulations and their impact on the organization's compensation policy and practice.

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Finance or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of HR Generalist experience.
Professional Certification a plus.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
