Description
Scope:
The Product Development Operator will assist with manufacturing, testing, and data collection of existing or new products on existing or new equipment. Work may be performed in a clean room and/or yellow light room.
Duties:
Work closely with manufacturing staff to test and analyze manufacturing processes.
Assist in the research and development of new processes.
Operate one or more machines simultaneously
Independently perform standard machine set ups
Visually and mechanically inspect panels during processing
Follow all departmental process procedures correctly and respectively
Complete all departmental documentation accurately including traveler
Maintain a safe, neat and orderly workplace in compliance with DDi Safety Policies
Follow all safety measures when handling chemicals and hazardous waste with regard to use, mixing and disposing of chemicals
Requirements
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
Familiar with processes, materials and safety as they apply to the printed circuit board industry.
Excellent interpersonal skills to include communication and problem solving.
Computer proficiency including Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel)
Other software skills a plus.
Ability to work with minimum supervision
Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs
Must be able to push/pull up to 50 lbs
Must be permitted to use respirators and other PPE
Must be able to read, write and speak English well enough to accomplish the job.
Education and Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of experience within the PCB or electronic manufacturing industry
High School Diploma required with some college, technical or advanced course work preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
