Oxide Operator

Description
Scope:
An Oxide Operator is actively involved in applying Alternative Oxide to cores prior to Pressing. An Oxide Operator must meet or exceed output targets by understanding the product flow and handling procedures within the department. An Oxide Operator will be exposed to hazardous waste while performing daily job duties. Operators will undergo Chemical Handling training prior to the start of performing these duties and will actively participate in ongoing hazardous waste and chemical handling training.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate equipment that applies Alternative Oxide to prepare cores for pressing
Read and interpret Travelers to verify all previous operations were completed
Report improper operations, faulty equipment, defective materials and unusual conditions to supervisor
Perform process quality checks to ensure cores are ready for pressing including Kitting of Layers for the Pressing Department
Complete all internal departmental documentation accurately
Follow all safety measurers when handling chemicals and hazardous waste with regard to use, mixing and disposing chemicals
Requirements
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job
Ability to perform detailed work
Ability to perform basic arithmetic
Ability to lift 30 pounds without straining
Ability to stand throughout shift
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Two years experience in the printed circuit board industry preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
