As a result of our continuing growth and success, Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking a Foreclosure Services Manager to join our team in Anaheim, CA!
Responsibilities:
The Foreclosure Services Manager will be responsible for the Foreclosure Department to include compliance, workflow & timelines, department audits, court appearances and reporting to senior management. Oversee the implementation of all changes to State and local laws pertaining to the foreclosure process. Perform all duties in accordance with the company?s policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.
+ Perform management responsibilities in accordance with the company?s policies and applicable laws.
+ Responsible for hiring and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; monitoring performance, rewarding, and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
+ Review and approve foreclosure bidding instructions and authorize bidding amounts for upcoming foreclosure sales with significant loss severity.
+ Maintain policy and procedure for compliance to State and local laws.
+ Monitors, evaluates, and implements improvements to foreclosure processes.
+ Create and maintain monthly incentive compensation plans for eligible positions within department.
+ Develop, implement, and analyze departmental reports to ensure maximum efficiencies and adherence to all applicable regulations.
+ Participate in various interdepartmental meetings and/or project teams representing the needs and requirements of the Bankruptcy/Foreclosure department.
+ Be present for court appearance on behalf of CMS.
+ Attend settlement conferences, mediation and depositions in person or telephonically on behalf of CMS.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
+ Some college required, Bachelor?s degree preferred.
+ Previous foreclosure experience with FHA, VA, USDA, Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae preferred.
+ Extensive knowledge of default mortgage servicing through foreclosure referral, and liquidation processes in a multi-state environment is required.
+ Three (3) to five (5) years? Banking, Mortgage, or Management experience required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
