Marketing Specialist Needed

Overview
The Marketing Specialist is tasked with a broad variety of marketing activities and operates within a deadline-driven environment. This role is expected to support events/shows, collaborate with external partners/vendors, and complete special projects from concept through delivery with guidance from the Marketing Communications Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Providing support for corporate events and trade shows. For corporate events, duties may include managing meeting space, arranging travel, and planning menus. For trade shows, duties may include securing booth spaces, handling logistics, and being the primary point of contact for trade show unions. Overseeing the fulfillment, inventory, and ordering literature and promotional items as well as tracking the cost.
Working hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Travel
Occasional overnight travel may be required for events and trade shows, not to exceed 15%.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business is required with a minimum of four years of directly related experience.
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
Prior experience planning off-site corporate meetings and large-scale trade shows is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of email marketing and social media is a plus.

Salary: $22 - 25 per hour + none




Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
