TWIC CARD IS 100% REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION

This California-based company serves the various business sectors that use the Ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles to ship and receive container cargo. They are seeking professional Company Drivers out of the Los Angeles/Long Beach area. 

OVERVIEW:

Drivers transport general freight via container trailers for dedicated customers. Runs between ports, local rail yards and distribution centers/warehouses. General freight but some Hazmat or doubles/triples available if driver wants/has endorsement(s). Loads requiring endorsements will pay a premium. No touch. Freight is mostly drop & hook, with occasional live load/unload. Currently hiring for night shift; Monday-Thursday 5:00 pm start, and Saturday 7:00 am start. Drivers average 10-12 hours per shift. Paid training. We are also looking for weekend drivers (Saturday – Sunday) and can be flexible with part and full time work for weekend shifts.  Sundays pay more. 

REQUIREMENTS:

- 23 YEARS OLD

- VALID CLASS A CDL

- VALID TWIC CARD

- HIRING FOR NIGHT SHIFT / WEEKENDS

- MUST MEET DOT REQUIREMENTS

- MUST HAVE AN ACCEPTABLE 10 YEAR MVR

- MUST PASS A DRUG TEST

Required experience:

- Recent CDL Driving: 1 year minimum, 2 years preferred

- Recent Port of LA/Long Beach experience desired

Required license or certification:

- Must have valid CDL & TWIC

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
