Cyber Security SW Engr (E04) The Raytheon Applied Signal Technology (RAST) engineering team in Anaheim Hills, CA, seeks a Sr. Software Engineer to work with system engineers and other software engineers to design, build, test, and maintain advanced high-capacity systems that process modern communications signals and protocols for the US intelligence community. The successful candidate will work on a team to implement network processing algorithms/techniques and to discover network protocol vulnerabilities for a given device/technology using various approaches (e.g. protocol fuzzing, reverse engineering, side channel attacks, etc.). He/she will apply knowledge and experience with firmware, device and computer network behavior to develop and deliver solutions to meet customer mission requirements. He/she will perform as a lead of small teams and/or as an individual contributor in the development of system and software over the entire development lifecycle. He/she will also be the subject matter expert (SME) in support of product line technical roadmaps, customer technical interface and technical proposal development. In addition, the successful candidate will work collaboratively in a team-oriented, fast paced and rapid turn environment. He/she has a strong work ethic, and is flexible and adaptable in order to respond to mission critical needs as they arise. On occasion, the candidate may need to work beyond the conventional business hours of 8am-5pm and travel to perform work at customer facilities. The candidate may have direct interaction with customers and must represent the company in a professional manner. Required Skills: ? 6+ years? practical technical experience in engineering development ? Experience in software development using C++ and object oriented design ? Experience with one or more scripting languages (e.g. Python, Perl, Ruby, Linux shell) ? Experience with Linux OS ? Experience in software debug and troubleshooting ? Practical experience in all phases of software development life cycle ? Experience in definition and documentation of ConOps, use cases, requirements, designs and test plans/procedures ? 2+ years? experience leading an engineering development team ? 2+ years? experience in at least 2 of the following: o reverse engineering (e.g. deconstructing proprietary protocols) o computer network security (e.g. detecting intrusions and defending networks) o protocol analysis/development o network traffic data capture and analysis o network protocols (e.g. IP, TCP, HTTP, Ethernet, SSL, ZigBee, GSM, OSPF, BGP) ? Demonstrated ability to create and brief technical presentations ? Effective communication skills (i.e. Oral, Written & interpersonal) ? Demonstrated ability and willingness to work collaboratively on multi-discipline teams ? Top Secret security clearance (active within the last 2 years) Desired Skills: ? Experience with embedded hardware/firmware/software development and Linux drivers ? Experience in reverse engineering embedded and non-embedded software code using disassembler tools ? Experience in network topology design ? Experience in raw network traffic data capture, analysis, and interpretation ? Experience as a security researcher ? Experience with kernel design, code injection, and malware analysis ? Experience with communications network security protocols ? Experience with cyber or data security ? Experience with penetration testing ? One or more of the following certifications: Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Network Defense Architect (CNDA), Advanced Certified Ethical Hacker, Cyber Security Forensic Analysis (CSFA), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), Offensive Security Certified Expert (OSCE), Certified Expert Penetration Tester (CEPT), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA), Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) ? Experience porting code to different platforms ? Experience in network sockets programming ? Experience in computer network installation and configuration ? Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
