Maintenance Supervisor (Flexibility Required) - Anaheim

Position Overview:
The Maintenance Supervisor provides leadership to a technical staff who maintain support equipment and systems. He/she improves work force productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through implementation of the work schedule provided by the Planning & Scheduling office.
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for implementing the work schedule and ensuring the quantity and quality of the maintenance work is acceptable. He/she is the primary point-of-contact for all plant support systems including Steam, Compressed Air, Water Treatment, HVAC, Wastewater Treatment, Building and Grounds.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Responsible for supervision and development of maintenance personnel. Manages the day-to-day maintenance function within his/her area of responsibility.
Ensures plant support systems are well maintained and performing to Company standards as well as Local and State regulatory requirements.
Manages contractors to ensure quality work is completed safely and on time.
Coordinates plant maintenance requirements with the Planner/Scheduler to effect necessary upgrades, modifications and repairs.
Keeps the Maintenance Manager properly informed on all abnormal or critical situations and seeks advice on matters outside of the supervisor's knowledge or authority.
Manages his/her portion of the maintenance budget and keeps the Maintenance Manager informed of any deviation.
Utilizes data to analyze equipment failure modes, Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), etc. and suggests/implements improvement processes to reduce or eliminate equipment/process failures (I.E.: PM inspection improvements, predictive maintenance techniques, maintenance employee training, etc.).
Implements the weekly work order schedule by issuing work orders and preventative maintenance inspections to assigned crew leaders/technicians.
Supervises the quality of workmanship of assigned work crew by auditing work during and after work completion.
Knowledgeable of and able to utilize the computerized maintenance management system to accomplish department goals.
Requirements, Qualifications and Selection Criteria:
5-years production plant experience with mechanical/electrical background necessary and 4-year degree or tech school background desired. Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional (CMRP) or equivalent is highly desired.
3-years experience working with Boilers, Water Treatment, HVAC and Compressed Air required.
Understanding of Process Safety Management (PSM) Program. Certification highly desired.
Basic knowledge of EPA guidelines and requirements for refrigeration and wastewater discharge desired.
Have or able to acquire a working knowledge of personal computers in a reasonable training period (typing skills helpful).

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
