We are currently looking for a Default Title Curative Director to join Carrington Mortgage Services in Anaheim, CA!
The Default Title Curative Director responsible for establishing the Default Title Curative department including implementing best practice procedures for researching and resolving default title issues and discrepancies, reviewing title evidence and curing title defects of record. Also responsible for managing the review and clearing of all preliminary title reports and/or property and judgment reports. Perform all duties in accordance with the company?s policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.
+ Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the company?s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include hiring and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; monitoring performance, rewarding, and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
+ Develop and implement policies, procedures and process around the curing of title defects within default.
+ Establish a clear escalation process for default title curative issues.
+ Responsible for the full title curative process from Pre-Foreclosure to Conveyance.
+ Determine solutions for irregularities and establish the process for resolution.
+ Ensure proper resources are available to resolve any default title related issues.
+ Ensure timely follow-up on all necessary clearance documentation.
+ Ensure accurate and timely communication of all updates, details, etc. to all parties involved in transaction.
+ Work with attorneys and negotiate HOA liens as well as property liens.
+ Resolve problems regarding improper transfers of title and lot line adjustment issues.
+ Direct work flow of team and assist staff with escalated issues.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
+ Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience.
+ Seven (7) plus years of REO/Foreclosure curative experience.
+ Two (2) plus years of management level experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
