SUMMARY: Perform all duties associated with collecting on past due auto loans, as assigned by queue or Supervisor.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Effectively manage a queue of 21-59 day past due auto loan accounts, ensuring collection activity is performed and progressed in a timely manner.
Skip Trace and request Field Chases as needed.
Comply with Gateway One Lending & Finance's policies and procedures and all state and federal regulations.
Handle approximately 100 calls daily (outbound and inbound).
Obtain acceptable payment arrangements and determine a plan for resolution while maintaining a customer service approach to collections, consistent with the Company's values of honesty and integrity.
Achieve and surpass daily and monthly queue goals.
Collaborate and function within a team environment, assisting with 2nd voice calls, working accounts, and assisting in open queues.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
1 years of experience managing a collections queue preferred
Effective communication, negotiation, problem solving and persuasive skills
Proficient computer skills and knowledgeable on Excel
Motivated and Results Driven
Time management skills, with the ability to prioritize daily work load
Flexibility required (must be willing to work evenings, weekends and over-time as needed)
Ability to maintain a positive attitude and calm demeanor when working with difficult customers

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
