This position is responsible for providing leadership in growing market share for Business Assurance Services within North America. In addition to meeting established order targets through direct sales activities, you are responsible for working with key management staff to define strategies and tactics necessary to effectively capture market share, grow share of existing customer business, and cultivate new business prospects. With executive management, marketing, and business line leadership, you will drive new service development, set value propositions, service-level commitments, price points, and competitive positions by market and service line.

? Manage contacts pipeline and relationships with key personnel for maximum visibility and positioning of Intertek Business Assurance.
? Proactively manage sales pipeline and throughput to exceed established order growth.
? Identify and cultivate prospect pipeline to open new revenue producing opportunities.
? Work with marketing team to help develop value propositions by product and market.
? Identify and develop, with management team, new service lines and corresponding value propositions to drive revenue and market share gains.
? Monitor and report key performance metrics and recommend necessary actions to enhance revenue and profitability.
? Conduct periodic calls involving sales teams focused on the Business Assurance market; share ideas, successes, positioning, and identified opportunities, and provide input to management with regard to future forecasted business.
? Generate periodic reports as to the performance of sales, including successes, opportunities, threats, and future outlook.
? Lead sales efforts to minimize costs while maximizing return for industry events and tradeshows.
? Perform other work as required.
Required Qualifications:
? Bachelor?s Degree in related area and 5+ years of experience in consultative business-to-business sales or business development; or the equivalent in terms of education, experience and training.
? Command of business management processes; strong business background.
? Outstanding communication skills.
? Proven success in managing and developing client accounts.
? Strong experience in new service development or consulting services driven-by customer/market needs.
? Proven ability to launch new services/products.
? Track record of driving change initiatives, and building team consensus.
? Ability to travel as business needs dictate.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
