As a Senior Healthcare Economics Consultant, you will be empowered to support short and long term operational/strategic business activities; develop, enhance and maintain operational information and models that will have an impact on business decisions. Primary Responsibilities: 




  • Prototype new and complex reporting for hand-off to IT using knowledge of healthcare administrative claims data




  • Participate in various committees innovating and validating new data-driven performance measures and goals




  • Ad-hoc reporting and analysis to answer customer business questions and provide recommendations




 


Required Qualifications:




  • Bachelor?s degree or equivalent work experience




  • Experience working with large data sets using SQL (preferably Microsoft?s T-SQL)




  • At least an intermediate proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access




  • At least an intermediate proficiency in performing data analytics




Preferred Qualifications:




  • Knowledge of Medicare provider payment systems (chiefly hospital and physician systems)




  • Experience in supporting provider and health plan contracting from a finance point of view




  • Work experience in a healthcare or managed care environment




  • Previous work experience in a corporate setting

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
